Kersal Matters

Shneur Zalman Odze - Kersal Conservatives

Congratulations 29 February, 2008

Thank you to all those that attended the consultation yesterday to decide how to spend the one off £100,000 on our highways. I am please to say that the projects on New Hall Road and Legh Street came a comfortable first.Sadly there was great merit with all the other projects that still need to be done. Whilst this is one off extra money what is really needed is more highways spending BETTER spend.

It goes to show that sharp elbows do work, and I am very proud and pleased to be playing my part on behalf of the Conservatives in reminding Labour that the people of Kersal also have needs and look forward to continuing the fight onwards for a better Kersal and Broughton Park.

A special thank you for all those that reminded people to go and vote including MH and its directors.

Shneur

What an absolute disgrace. This money was meant for the whole of East Salford.

Typical Conservative thinking, me, me, me.

This will provide great publicity for the Labour Party in the forthcoming election.

Nice own goal in damaging the Conservative Party.

I am sorry you took it negatively, if you read what I wrote carefully You will see that I feel the whole Salford not only East Salford has been let down by Labour.
The solution is more funding better spent, what else do you expect from me but to stand up for Kersal as I would expect all activists to stand up for their area.

Interesting it seems to be only the area to near where you live and that serves a small community and not the whole. The money available should have been spread through the WHOLE area.

All sensible people know that highways budgets are never enough and it would be nice to have more, but this good Salford Labour Council has spent it’s money wisely on the vulnerable, young and elderly(I’m not a lover of some of the things they do and am not involved in any political party, before you start)

I see you’ve kept quiet about the money they have spent on a family centre on Northumberland Street. That’s right you can’t take the credit for that, because Tories don’t believe in society and if you came to power would close it down, like the Tories did last time to anything that represented community!
