Taxi drivers 15 February, 2009

I almost forgot has patient, polite, courteous and considerate Taxi’s and especially minicabs are. They will always give way, take their time in turning and let people of all ages cross the road,

so long as they have a paying fair – otherwise forget it!

BBC – Shame on you 10 February, 2009

No not on their editorial stance, but on the quality of the BBC political coverage. Watching the Israeli election results with the quality journalist, the catchy displays, and the speed of the results, puts into sharp relief just how poor election nights are with the BBC, and that from a Country one tenth our size.

The Cold War – Over? 1 February, 2009

Twenty years since the Cold War came to an end, and we still are suffering from freezing weather emanating from Russia. You would have thought the Government would have done something by now?

I look forward to the European Union actually doing something for once, and hold Russia to its promise of being a “reliable” partner. Otherwise I expect tough sanctions immediately to stop this annual suffering!

Israel’s “friends” 1 February, 2009

Where Is the condemnation and promised action from the international community, now that Hamas is now only breaching their own “cease fire”, but killing civilians, firing rockets and mortars, with one landing between two kindergartens.

Does international opinion expect Israel to stay silent for another 5994 rockets, by which time their will be many Israeli dead and 100,000’s of civilian lives ruined.

I pray Israel does its primary duty and protect its civilians, as would and should any other democracy and turn a deaf ear, to the protests of our “friends”.

Britain can start by closing the European headquarters, that Hamas has had here in London for twenty years, with the acquiesance of the authorities. Now located in-between the side exit of Finsbury Park underground station and the “charity shop”. for years the Israelis have protested to the British, and until we wake up am realise that Islamist terror is a threat to our streets, not just some foreign issue, it will never stop.
