There is a Jewish saying “Don’t be pleased about the fall of your enemy”, let alone someone who did not harm to me or anyone I know. Yet non the less am I the only one ever so slightly irked by the reaction to this rather fallible man.
Yes, he may not have been convicted of any crime, and yes he had a hard life, that does not excuse the wrongs he irrefutably committed. Furthermore what does it say about society that ultimate icon is this?
